Little update about how deify is going. It's going pretty well, on Friday I made the detailing on a piece of scrap wood I had, then I paper mached over it, which had dried by yesterday, but you couldn't see the detailing very well, i tried it again, with three layers of rope instead to make the detailing, and toady I'm going to use modrock instead to cover it, hopefully this will work better and I'll be able to see the detailing much better. As for my piece of wood - it's done! I've had it cut out, now I just need to mark it out today, and get it cut before we break up for a week on Friday, as it will be quite difficult to get some cutting materials at home.
Also, been thinking about my essay, not sure what question to pick, I've got some ideas for both of them, and tonight when I get home from work I'm going to do some research on a French artist called Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. I love his posters, and he fits right into the modernist movement, so if I were to pick Question 1, he is who I would study.
